Comp Format
The Equinox Top Rope Comp is a Modified Red Point format.
A variety of top rope routes will be set. Each route will be broken into three sections and the points you earn depend on which section of the route you reached. Attempts will be factored into your final score and may be used in the event of a tiebreaker.
The scores from a competitors top 7 climbs will accumulate to give the final score. Attempts will result in deduction from the final score.
Adult’s cannot climb youth routes. Youth cannot climb adult routes.
The routes will be available to all competitors at the same time.
There is a 3 minute time limit on the wall for every route and every category. All competitors may attempt the climbs as many times as they wish during the 3 hour session.
