FAQs

  • This is not an over night camp! Each day is 5 hours long, 9am to 2pm. Transportation is TBD and will be announced by sign ups on March 1st.

  • Maximum 1 instructor to 5 students. This ensures that students get ample one on one time to learn and practice all that is taught throughout the camp!

  • Yes! Both of our instructors have background checks and work with youth throughout the year.

  • Nic was an ACA white water kayak and canoe instructor, along with taking a swift water rescue class. He has had over 10 years of experience working with groups on the river. All students are required to have PFDs and water shoes on while performing any water activity.

  • No it will not! We will have students that have not climbed or belayed before in the camp. We will make sure they are well educated and get a lot of practice in. All students will be backed up while belaying as well to add an extra barrier of safety while they learn. Our camp is focused on education and experience, so while one student may be more experienced, every student will leave the camp with more knowledge and skills to build upon.
